Every build begins with a conversation about how the work should feel, and ends with a tool people reach for without thinking. In between is the craft: the data model, the edge cases, the quiet decisions that make software feel obvious.
My Build Studio designs and engineers custom software for companies that have outgrown off-the-shelf products. Client portals, operations platforms, internal tools, integrations between systems that were never meant to talk. The work is scoped small, shipped early, and improved in the open. The studio is also the home of our own products and creations, built to the same standard as client work.
The studio is builder and engineer at once. Builder, because the goal is something people use every day. Engineer, because it has to keep working next year, under load, when the person who asked for it has moved on to the next idea.

Start from the workflow, not the screen
The first week is spent understanding how information actually moves through the business. Screens come after the data model is right.

A focused tool in daily use within weeks beats a platform on a roadmap. Each build earns the next.

Clear structure, plain documentation, and infrastructure that does not need a specialist on call. The tool should outlast the project.

Software is never finished. The studio stays close after launch, improving what people use and retiring what they do not.
